I grew up listening to the Beach Boys with my dad. I had no idea of Brian Wilson’s mental illness until I watched this movie. It was a fascinating exploration into the mind of a prolific musical genius. For anyone who loves the Beach Boys, this is a must-see movie. I’ve been a John Cusack fan since Say Anything, and this is maybe my favorite performance.
