This day in age it's hard not to have a little gamer in the house. When my kids do get to play video games, which isn't all that often, I'm very particular about what games I allow them to play.
We downloaded Tomodachi Life and Animal Crossing™: New Leaf onto my daughter's Nintendo 2DS using the Nintendo eShop. Downloads from the eShop are always so easy.
Tomodachi Life
My daughter loves this game. Nintendo Tomodachi Life is her favorite new thing to play on her Nintendo 2DS. She loves that she can create Mii Character friends (some are similar to her real life friends) and interact with them in her own town. That's what happens when friends and family members become Mii characters with their own personalities and live on an island where almost anything can happen! In her Mii Character world on an island, my daughter can pretend she doesn't have younger sisters and then observe and participate in a crazy world where unexpected things happen everyday. She gets to explore and experience different areas on the island, including shops, a concert hall, and an amusement park.
Animal Crossing™: New Leaf
In Nintendo Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you get to hop a train to a new place. We used to live in Essex Junction before we moved to Oregon. My daughter's town in her game is named after her old town. It's a place she wants to visit and the train runs to Essex Jct., so it's only natural that would be the name of her town. She hasn't gotten very far in this game. She keeps getting stuck at the train station in the new town and hasn't figured out how to get to other places in the new town.
In this game, she gets to start a new life as the mayor of a town that is always changing. Animal Crossing™: New Leaf is the first game in the charming Animal Crossing series for the Nintendo 3DS™ system and expands on the customized game play the series is known for. She gets to take charge of the town as mayor and watch her personalized world grow as she design her character's life and the life of the town around her.
