Erika’s Review: Halo SleepSack in Microfleece
I received the XL Halo SleepSack in microfleece with the rocket appliqué to review. This is a great product with multiple features that make a first time mom say ‘awe.’ Living so far North and having an October baby, sleeping safely is incredibly important to our family. Winter is Coming (am I allowed to make that reference? lol), so I was faced with whether or not to allow my 1-year-old son to sleep with blankets—so reviewing the sleep sack seemed like a great fit!
The fleece is really soft, but durable enough that even after 5 washes it hasn’t pilled up and still looks fresh. The wide base design doesn’t seem to get my little one all tangled up or confined. What new mom doesn’t pink puffy heart a seal of approval? The stitching is clean and the product is well put together. The zipper is smooth and constructed well with tight teeth that won’t easily pinch skin. I especially love that it zips up from the bottom! It leaves a nice clean edge at the top without worrying about pinching or poking from the zipper pull and gives you easy access to diaper changes. This feature also came in *really* handy in dealing with a brutal diaper rash. I was able to leave his diaper off to sleep and unzipped the sack part way to get some air flow without leaving him, or the rest of my house, exposed.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the Halo SleepSack. With multiple sizes, styles, and patterns, there is a Halo product for babies & children 0-5, and I highly recommend trying them out!
