About the Disney California Food and Wine Festival

The Disneyland Food and Wine Festival is a festival celebrating the bounties and flavors of California.

Each festival, you can wander through the Festival Marketplaces, exploring varied and vibrant cuisine inspired by the flavors of California. Visit Disney California Adventure Park for the festival’s events and taste irresistible small plates and beverages for sale at different outdoor marketplaces kiosks.

Each of the 13 marketplace menus is inspired by fresh, California-grown ingredients such as avocado, artichokes, melon, berries, peppers, or artisanal cheese. You’ll also discover an array of locally brewed craft beers and wines from all over the Golden State.

The Festival Beer Garden (located in Paradise Gardens) offers a variety of local craft and brewed beers.

Cocktails @ Sonoma Terrace features specialty beverages, brews, and bites.

History of the Disney California Food and Wine Festival

The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is a food and beverage festival that takes place every spring in Disney California Adventure.

The festival first opened in DCA in 2006 with 12 kiosks, as well as other offerings such as wine and beer tastings, seminars, and cooking demonstrations. This event was inspired by the much larger Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

The annual festival continued through 2010, but was on hiatus for a few years as Disney California Adventure began major construction. In 2016, Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returned to DCA.
