About the Disney California Food and Wine Festival
The Disneyland Food and Wine Festival is a festival celebrating the bounties and flavors of California.
Each festival, you can wander through the Festival Marketplaces, exploring varied and vibrant cuisine inspired by the flavors of California. Visit Disney California Adventure Park for the festival’s events and taste irresistible small plates and beverages for sale at different outdoor marketplaces kiosks.
Each of the 13 marketplace menus is inspired by fresh, California-grown ingredients such as avocado, artichokes, melon, berries, peppers, or artisanal cheese. You’ll also discover an array of locally brewed craft beers and wines from all over the Golden State.
Brews, flights, wines, and specialty beverages are available at select marketplace kiosks.
The Festival Beer Garden (located in Paradise Gardens) offers a variety of local craft and brewed beers.
Cocktails @ Sonoma Terrace features specialty beverages, brews, and bites.
Additional fees for seminars and events may be required, and space at the events is limited.
History of the Disney California Food and Wine Festival
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is a food and beverage festival that takes place every spring in Disney California Adventure.
The festival first opened in DCA in 2006 with 12 kiosks, as well as other offerings such as wine and beer tastings, seminars, and cooking demonstrations. This event was inspired by the much larger Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
The annual festival continued through 2010, but was on hiatus for a few years as Disney California Adventure began major construction. In 2016, Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returned to DCA.
When is the Disney California Food and Wine Festival
For 2020, the Disney California Food and Wine Festival runs daily February 28 through April 21, 2020.
How can I attend the Disney California Food and Wine Festival
The 2020 Disney California Food and Wine Festival is included in your standard Disneyland park admission.
While attending the overall festival is included with your park admission, restaurant-sized tastes of food and drink will cost you extra.
The main dishes samples at the food marketplace kiosks run about $6–$8, desserts and drinks between $4–$6. Alcoholic beverages range between $7–$16.
You can buy a Sip and Savor Pass for just $56, which includes 8 tasting tickets good for all items, excluding alcohol; Annual Passholders can buy a Sip and Savor pass for only $51.
